Nova Darkroom Equipment was originally set up in 1983 by Robin Whetton and Graham New. The sole aim of the company was to develop and market a unique design of print processor to make life easy for the darkroom user.

Known now all over the World as the "Slot Processor", this unique design was patented and is still credited as one of the most innovative and valued products still being used in today's modern darkroom.

In 1991, the now well established manufacturing business was credited with awards by Camera Weekly and later by Amateur Photographer readers "Gear of the Year" for their ingenious processing systems. These awards and the growing interest in the company's knowledge and product range led Robin Whetton, the current owner and Managing Director, to set up Nova - "The Darkroom Warehouse" - this was the start of our mail order business. Now, having expanded our range into other hardware products and chemicals, papers and accessories, we are supplying thousands of darkroom users worldwide with all their processing requirements.

With over 2500 products available from stock, a range of quality used equipment and a team of technical sales staff boasting over 75 years of knowledge and experience, it is fair to say we are a one stop mail order and online shop for all your darkroom needs.
